Social Club Topic

Dogs, especially our adolescent friends; are built to go, go GO! And the simple act of hanging out is often widely overlooked by dog owners. The reality is, however; that most of your dogs adventures in the real world require the ability to settle and stay still.
During this topic we will be focusing on 4 main skills – relaxing on a mat, Sit, Down, and Stand. These four skills will be built with an implied stay and in the classroom we will start to add the skills needed for your dog to take on these behaviours in a wide variety of situations. During the Adventures portions we will put these skills to use and help trouble shoot any problems that arise and enjoy a social event with our canine companions. Our first adventure will be settling in a real world open environment like a park, and the graduating class will be enjoying a drink or lunch on a patio type setting.
