Social Club Topic
Meeting strangers; human or canine, is a very complex skill that is rarely given enough thoughtfulness. It takes skill, and forethought from both the dog(s) and handler(s) in the greeting. Many trainers will suggest just never doing it, however; this isn’t really a reliable solution. Dogs and handlers will learn the ins and outs of thoughtful greetings throughout this topic. They will get practice greeting people; and the option to practice dog-dog greetings if ready and they choose. For the Adventures portions, we will put these skills to use and help trouble shoot any problems that arise and enjoy a social event with our canine companions. Our adventures will be focused on a dog friendly store and/or a dog friendly market. (depending on what is available).
